本單元是六年級上冊第九模塊的內(nèi)容，句型是 “Do you want to ...” 和 “I want to...”等句子讓學(xué)生學(xué)會表達自己的意愿和想法。
教學(xué)目標
【知識目標】
1.能聽說讀寫單詞：peace， world， show， film
2.能聽懂Do you want to visit the UN building？ Yes， please. The UN wants to make peace in the world.等句子。
【能力目標】
能夠運用Do you want to visit the UN building？ Yes， please. The UN wants to make peace in the world. 進行描述并能說出Unit 1的課文。
【情感目標】
1.積極運用所學(xué)的英語與同學(xué)交流周末活動。
2.了解聯(lián)合國大廈和更多的名勝古跡。
3.積極找尋名勝古跡的資料，向同學(xué)展示。
教學(xué)重難點

學(xué)習(xí)并運用Do you want to visit the UN building？ Yes， please. The UN wants to make peace in the world.等句子表達自己的意愿和想法。
【教學(xué)難點】
用一般現(xiàn)在時表述某人想作某事，知道want to后面要接動詞原形。

教學(xué)過程
Step1. Warming up
free talk
Step2. Preview
1. Sing a song： America， America 播放錄音，師生齊唱，大屏幕顯示歌詞和與歌曲相關(guān)的圖片。
2. Ask and answer： Do you like this song？ What do you know about America？ 學(xué)生根據(jù)已有經(jīng)驗和自己課前搜集的資料回答，當學(xué)生說出the UN building時，教師引出新課。
Step3. Presentation
1.呈現(xiàn)圖片，引出課文。出示聯(lián)合國大廈的圖片，問： “Do you know the UN building？ The UN is the United Nations. Do you want to visit the UN building？ Today we‘ll visit the UN building with Daming and Simon.”
2. Play the tape and let the students listen. 教師播放錄音。
3.出示這句話“The UN wants to make peace in the world.”教peace的發(fā)音，ea發(fā)[i：] 的音，c發(fā)[s] 的音。
再教world的發(fā)音，注意區(qū)分world和word發(fā)音的不同，讓學(xué)生讀.
4.講解make peace 和in the world兩個詞組。在句中體會其意思，教師通過圖片和肢體語言幫助學(xué)生理解。
5.學(xué)生分角色朗讀課文，并請兩組學(xué)生上臺表演。
Step4. Practice
1.操練“want to”句子
2.找出want to句式的規(guī)律
a.出示這3句含有want to的句子，觀察這三句話有什么共同之處。會有學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)want to 后面接動詞原型，這時課件閃爍visit，make，go三個動詞，教師總結(jié)：want to 后面要接動詞原型，如want to play，want to eat.讓學(xué)生說幾個想做什么事的詞組。
b.教師再問：發(fā)現(xiàn)want to有什么變化嗎？學(xué)生會找到“The UN wants to make peace in the world.”中want加了s。請學(xué)生思考為什么。幫助學(xué)生總結(jié)，主語是第三人稱單數(shù)形式時，用一般現(xiàn)在時表述想做什么事，動詞也要變成第三人稱單數(shù)形式。如“Amy wants to go to Beijing.”讓學(xué)生嘗試說兩句。
Step5. Summary
師生共同總結(jié)本課所學(xué)內(nèi)容。
Step6. Homework
1、聽讀本單元內(nèi)容。
2、完成課本習(xí)題。
