我們又見面啦！今天老師在cook breakfast的時(shí)候忽然想到了一個(gè)有趣的命題：“究竟是雞生蛋還是蛋生雞呢？”哈哈，你們有沒有想過，你每天早餐吃的那顆蛋它都有怎樣的經(jīng)歷呢？我們今天就來細(xì)細(xì)說說。我就先假設(shè)是先有雞的吧。先來看一個(gè)關(guān)系圖。

　　OK, Let’s begin with the hen.

　　hen —— 母雞

　　母雞就是雞媽媽。她的主要工作就是下蛋和孵小雞，當(dāng)然還要照顧雞寶寶們。

　　(1). The chickens gathered under the hen.

　　小雞們聚集在母雞身體下面。

　　(2). My hens laid five eggs last night.

　　我的雞昨天夜里下了五顆蛋。

　　(3). A hen can lay one or two eggs one day.

　　一只母雞一天可以下一到兩顆蛋。

　　rooster/ cock—— 公雞

　　Some people keep a rooster as a pet. 有人把公雞當(dāng)寵物養(yǎng)。

　　chick/ chicken—— 小雞

　　(1). These chicks are newly hatched by the hen.

　　這些小雞剛被母雞孵化出來。

　　(2). chicken有多種意思：1. 小雞 2. 雞肉 3. 雞（統(tǒng)稱）

　　egg —— 雞蛋

　　(1). 蛋清 —— egg white

　　(2). 蛋黃 —— yolk (egg yellow)

　　(3). 煮雞蛋 —— boiled（形容詞） eggs / boil（動(dòng)詞） an egg

　　(4). 炒雞蛋 —— scrambled（形容詞） eggs / scramble（動(dòng)詞） an egg

　　(5). 煎雞蛋 —— fried（形容詞）  eggs / fry（動(dòng)詞） an egg

　　(6). 蒸雞蛋 —— steamed（形容詞） eggs/ steam（動(dòng)詞） an egg

　　舉幾個(gè)例子：

　　(1). My mother always boils an egg for me for breakfast.

　　媽媽通常在早餐煮一個(gè)雞蛋給我吃。

　　(2). When my son is ten months old, he began to eat steamed eggs.

　　我兒子十個(gè)月大的時(shí)候開始吃蒸蛋。

　　(3). I like scrambled eggs with tomatoes very much.

　　我非常喜歡西紅柿炒雞蛋。

　　(4). Many children don’t like egg yolk because it’s too hard to swallow.

　　很多孩子不喜歡吃蛋黃，因?yàn)樗�太干了，難以下咽。
