Yesterday is Mary’s birthday. After class, we walked home together. We talked for a long time and had an appointment. We would be friends forever. We all said that no matter what happens in the future, we will be friends forever. We were neighbors and we played together when we started to remember things. We often heard the adults say that many things will change as we grow up. But we believe our friendship will not change forever, so we have our deal.
