　　This country has a sun， a golden and warm sun. He has a kid named Shiny. Shiny has pretty hair， and he is warm too. Shiny likes running here and there.

　　這個(gè)國(guó)家有一個(gè)太陽(yáng)，金色而溫暖的太陽(yáng)。他有個(gè)孩子叫閃亮。閃亮的頭發(fā)很漂亮，他也很溫暖。閃亮喜歡到處跑。

　　Shiny is a student in sun school. His geography (地理課) is very poor， so he hates that class very much. He also can not learn the difference (不同) between north and south， east and west. He doesn’t know what is “up”， “down”， “left” or “right.” Shiny can’t find the way to his country.

　　閃亮是太陽(yáng)學(xué)校的一名學(xué)生。他的地理很差，所以他非常討厭那門(mén)課。他也不知道北方和南方，東方和西方的區(qū)別。他不知道什么是“上”，“下”，“左”或“右”。閃亮找不到去他國(guó)家的路。

　　Shiny grows up and finishes school. It is about time to get to work and replace (代替) his father. One day， his dad takes Shiny for a walk around the country. “After tomorrow， you will be alone. You will replace me. Your mom and I will go on vacation (度假).” Shiny sleeps down. He is so worried.

　　后來(lái)閃亮長(zhǎng)大了，完成了學(xué)業(yè)。是時(shí)候去工作了，去頂替他的父親了。有一天，他爸爸帶著閃亮在全國(guó)散步。“過(guò)了明天，你就得一個(gè)人了。你將代替我。閃亮睡著了。他很擔(dān)心。

　　Next morning， Shiny pops out (跳出來(lái)) from behind the mountain. He wanders (閑逛) for hours. “Where am I standing now？” A strange thing happens. Day and night switches (交換) many times. And people get scared (害怕的)！ “Does the sun rise from the west now？” an old woman says. “Aha！ It’s Shiny！ Poor little thing.” The old woman tells the news to her neighbor. Then all of the country hear the news.

　　第二天早上，閃亮從山的后面跳了出來(lái)。他游蕩了好幾個(gè)小時(shí)。“我現(xiàn)在站在什么地方？”一件奇怪的事情發(fā)生了。白天和黑夜變換了許多次。人們開(kāi)始害怕了！“現(xiàn)在太陽(yáng)從西邊出來(lái)了嗎？”一位老婦人說(shuō)。“啊哈！閃亮！可憐的小東西。老太太把這個(gè)消息告訴了鄰居。然后全國(guó)都聽(tīng)到了這個(gè)消息。

　　So the government (政府) decides to make signs (指示牌) to avoid darkness (避免黑暗). And villagers use candles， matches， torches (火炬) and lanterns. Shiny is so sorry about！ He doesn’t want to come out ever again.、

　　所以政府決定做一些標(biāo)志來(lái)避免黑暗。村民們用蠟燭、火柴、火把和燈籠。閃亮感到很抱歉！他再也不想出來(lái)了。

　　People keep making signs with wood and nails (釘子). Finally， the whole country gets thousands of signs. They point north， south， east and west. Everyone is waiting for Shiny to appear. The little sun wakes up. “I don’t know what to do today. I’ll mess everything up (弄糟) again！” as he talks to himself， he sees the first sign and the second sign. He knows where to go and never loses his way (迷路).

　　人們一直用木頭和釘子做標(biāo)志。最后，整個(gè)國(guó)家得到了成千上萬(wàn)的標(biāo)志。它們指向北、南、東和西。每個(gè)人都在等待閃亮的出現(xiàn)。小太陽(yáng)醒了。“我不知道今天該做什么。我又要把一切搞砸了！當(dāng)他自言自語(yǔ)時(shí)，他看到了第一個(gè)標(biāo)志和第二個(gè)標(biāo)志。終于他知道去哪里了，并且再也不會(huì)迷路了。
